Q: Do your clear storm panels meet the Florida Building Code Standards? Will I get that in writing so I can prove it to my insurance company?

A: We have the necessary documentation for your peace of mind and your insurance company. The panels meet the Florida Building Code Standards, our approval number is FL6427. Hurricane Shield has been independently tested and engineered to meet the tough Florida building code standards. We received product approval from the commission only after passing these rigorous tests.

Q: Why would I choose a clear storm panel over aluminum or metal storm shutters?

A: Our product will never rust or corrode, they are light weight for easy installation and most notably they are “clear”, allowing light to flow through your windows during power outages before, during and after the storm.
